Saryga is a research-driven company dedicated to supporting innovation in statistics and decision-making in healthcare. We work with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to develop and apply advanced statistical methodologies that help optimise drug development plans, clinical trial designs and strategic decision-making.
As an Experienced Statistical Methodologist, you will join a small, agile and highly scientific team. You will work on complex clinical development challenges, contribute to methodological innovation, support client projects and take part in research activities leading to scientific publications.
This role is ideal for a statistician who wants to go beyond operational delivery and actively contribute to the development of innovative statistical approaches.
Requirements
You have a strong scientific background and proven experience in clinical development, with the ability to translate complex statistical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
Key requirements
- PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics or Applied Mathematics
- 3–5 years of experience in clinical development
- Published research work
- Strong expertise in clinical trial design
- Excellent knowledge of Bayesian statistics
- Excellent programming skills in R
- Good understanding of regulatory processes in drug development
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Proactive mindset and ability to propose innovative solutions
- Clinical Trial Design Expertise Strong experience in designing innovative and complex clinical trials.
- Bayesian & Advanced Methods Excellent knowledge of Bayesian statistics and advanced statistical modelling.
- Scientific Communication Ability to present complex concepts clearly to statisticians and non-statisticians.
- Innovation Mindset A proactive approach to developing new methodologies and tailored solutions.

- Providing statistical input and technical support on methodologies related to clinical trial design, complex modelling and quantitative decision-making
- Supporting clients with drug development plans, regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities
- Conducting research to develop new statistical methodologies
- Contributing to scientific publications and methodological communications
- Providing training to statisticians and non-statisticians
- Working across complex therapeutic contexts, including rare diseases and innovative mechanisms of action
